MISSION STATEMENT
The Ministry of Communication and Works seeks to provide high quality services on a timely basis to satisfy customers’ needs while ensuring better employee satisfaction.
CORPORATE GOALS
The following are the corporate goals of the Ministry of Communications and Works. These goals guide programme development and implementation within the Ministry. 1. To develop and maintain a safe air, and sea transportation system; 2. To maintain an appropriate network of roads to the required standards; 3. To ensure all public buildings are designed, specified, built and maintained to the required standards; 4. To licence and regulate telecommunications to ensure that the telecommunications infrastructure is effectively utilized; 5. To ensure vehicles and drivers are registered and licensed to meet the required standards. 6. To ensure government policies relating to activities that are within the Ministry’s sphere of activities, including those of other agencies, are effectively implemented 7. To ensure that the Ministry of Communications and Works is managed efficiently and effectively through the development of best-practice public sector management programmes. |
