Montserrat Fire & Rescue Service
VISION
To have the Montserrat Fire
and Rescue Service equipped, trained and proficient in all
aspects of firefighting, fire prevention and rescue services.
MISSION STATEMENT
To provide the Colony of
Montserrat with such an efficient and effective service as to
protect life and property from the effects of fire and all other
accidents and disasters.
Corporate Goals
The presentation of the RMPF
Mission statement best reflects the anticipated priorities for
the organization. As with all such statements and prevalent in
particular to policing is the need to adapt at short notice to
new developments or situations such as protracted criminal
investigations or natural disaster management. Accordingly the
priority goals for the Royal Montserrat police Force include:

To build a safer community by
focusing on fire protection and fire safety;

To provide a quick and
effective response to fire and non-fire emergencies;

To develop best-practice
public sector management programmes and practices that
provides the GOM and the community a 'value for money'
service.

To have a professionally
trained workforce that ensures that the MF&RS is able to
provide the full range of fire and emergency service to the
people of Montserrat.
