legal advice to all government departments.
Corporate Goals
The following corporate goals for
the Legal Department provide the framework within which the
Government's judicial policies will be implemented:

To promote an effective public
service by protecting the legal interests of the Government.

To contribute to building a
safe environment by assistance in the maintenance of law and
order.

To enhance the legal and
administrative services to the Attorney General and other
key stakeholders.

To train and develop the
capacity and capabilities of the staff of the Legal
Department so that they function effectively to realise
these goals.
