MISSION STATEMENT

high quality and impartial service to the community it serves.
Corporate Goals
The presentation of the RMPF

the organization. As with all such statements and prevalent in
particular to policing is the need to adapt at short notice to
new developments or situations such as protracted criminal
investigations or natural disaster management. Accordingly the
priority goals for the Royal Montserrat police Force include:

the increase in crime and thereafter introduce measures of
crime reduction. In particular demand reduction, education,
and prevention in relation to the misuse of drugs.
-
To Maintain Safety. To

roads and in all public places and so support the "safe
place" as a means of encouraging tourism.
-
To Educate The Public In Crime
Prevention. To deliver a continuous education programme on
all aspects of crime prevention. To be achieved through the
policy of community policing and community participation.

management and so provide a stable and professional
administration that provides the GOM and the community a
'value for money' service.
-
To Improve Awareness of Family
Crime and Support. To further encourage the reporting of
Domestic Violence and Child Abuse, through the positive
action strategy and partnership with the victims and all
other concerned departments and agencies.
-
To Improve Service Delivery.
To ensure standards are set and maintained for all aspects
of service delivery through the strengthening of and
accountability of achievable performance indicators. Develop
an ethics and integrity culture within law enforcement in

all officers to aspire to, ensuring a continuous educated
