VISION

 

We aim to provide the highest quality postal services standards that are on a par with the recognised best postal service providers in the region.  We also aim to develop the postal sector in such a way that it will underpin the economic objectives as set out in the Sustainable Development Programme. 

 

 

 

MISSION STATEMENT

 

To ensure domestic customers enjoy competitively priced, high-quality postal services while ensuring that the Post Office trades out of its current loss making position to a position of profitability. 

 

 

 

CORPORATE GOALS

 

The corporate goals of the Post Office provide the framework in which an effective policy can be developed for the Montserrat postal sector based on open market principles.  The following are the corporate goals of the Post Office:

 

  1. To provide a reliable, efficient postal service at the lower cost and price to meet our customer needs.

  2. To ensure the implementation of best practise in customer service.

  3. To effectively manage the postal budget and to provide accurate, timely service and financial information to key stakeholders.

  4. To support the modernisation of the postal sector with a particular focus identifying new opportunities emerging from new technologies.

  5. Protecting and adding to stakeholder value through sound business decisions leading to sustained profitability of the Post Office.
