Court Registry
VISION
To assist in the modernization of
the procedures of the Courts and establishing Montserrat as a
Trades Marks and Intellectual Property Centre.
MISSION STATEMENT
To deliver high quality
professional, efficient, and impartial service in facilitating
the effective administration and dispensation of justice through
the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court and ensuring accurate
registration, preservation, and easy retrieval of records.
Corporate Goals
The following corporate goals of
the Supreme Court Registry provide the framework within which
the Registry can provide the level of expected service:

To provide court registry
staff with suitable facilities, equipment and resources to
carry out their duties.

To enhance the efficiency and
delivery of court registry services to the judiciary and
users of the court registry facilities.

To work closely with
Government towards recovering a substantial amount of the
costs of judiciary as well as administrative costs without
hindering access to justice.

To enhance the relationship
with key external partners.

To ensure that the Supreme
Court Registry has the necessary technical skills and
resources to carry out its functions in an efficient, and
effective manner.
