Core Skills Development
Core Skills Development
Each year the Human Resources Management Unit conducts a Learning Needs Analyses across the Public Service to determine the needs of the Organization. Ministries and Departments would submit their learning needs in the required format.
From the areas submitted an in-service training calender is designed to meet the needs of the officers and the organization.
The Long Term Training areas submitted are compiled to form the Government of Montserrat’s List of Priority Areas for Long-Term Training and Development for a particular year. This list is required to advance the Government of Montserrat’s operational and strategic development agenda. The proposed list of training priorities is principally informed by the Government’s Policy Agenda.
