In accordance with Section 2 of the Weights and Measures (Inspection) Order, made under Section 14 of the Weights and Measures Act, an inspection will occur at the following dates and times for the purpose of examining and verifying ALL Weights and Weighing instruments in use on Montserrat.
Every individual keeping a shop, stall, yard or other place wherein goods are sold, or exposed or kept for sale, by weights and measures, shall bring to the Inspector at the place and times shown below, all weights and weighing instruments. This includes but is not limited to: Grocery Stores and other commercial establishments utilizing traditional or electronic weighing instruments, farmers, fisher-folk and courier services.
Failure to comply with the above order will render the persons concerned liable to prosecution.
The inspection will be done at the car park of the Brades Arts and Education Centre, located in Brades, on the following days and times:

All are advised that masks or face coverings should be worn at all times, and to ensure that social distancing measures are practiced, in keeping with public health protocols.
