The Office of the Premier is mandated to provide a full range of policy, strategic management and professional services; aimed at spearheading initiatives that promote the resilient development of Montserrat.
The following are the key subject areas in the Office of the Premier: Strategic Management and Administration; Cabinet Secretariat; Monitoring and Evaluation; Public Relations; Government Information Unit; Broadcasting Unit; External Affairs, including Diaspora Affairs; Department for Information Technology and e-Government services; Access & Connectivity; Trade & Quality Infrastructure, including Business Development; Tourism; Montserrat Arts Council; Basic Needs Trust Fund and Montserrat Government (United Kingdom) Office.

To be a fit-for-purpose, strategic-oriented and forward thinking portfolio of the Government of Montserrat that fosters resilient development.
Mission
To provide policy leadership and strategic management for the development of Montserrat, through innovation and effective partnering of its constituent units.
